Wynn Traffic Update Week of April 2nd!

The following is planned roadway improvement work associated with the opening of Wynn Boston Harbor, barring any changes due to weather. These activities should have minimal impact on traffic. Significant road and sidewalk construction is anticipated to start early spring of 2018. 

Week of Monday, April 2, 2018
All work locations and durations are subject to weather. 
 
Sullivan Square

Road work will progress throughout the Sullivan Square rotary. 
Work will include underground utility investigation, drainage structure installation, hydrant relocation and street light installation. 
The proposed work will require short-term lane closures. Some lane shifting may be required.

Route 16

Work will continue east of Santilli Circle.
The work will be done by crews working in isolated areas outside of the roadway. 
No anticipated impact to traffic is expected.  
Traffic signal work will begin at Wellington Circle.
Work will be done by small crews working in isolated areas. 
The proposed work will require closing outside travel lanes for a short duration.

Alford Street/Broadway (Route 99)

Roadwork will continue on Broadway, including the intersection of Broadway at Beacham Street and on Robin Street.
The work will include underground utility investigation, curb and sidewalk removal, conduit installation and drainage structure installation.
The work will require short-term lane closures. Some lane shifting may be required.
Two travel lanes southbound on Broadway will be maintained during morning peak hours and two travel lanes northbound on Broadway will be maintained during afternoon peak hours.
