Wynn Traffic Update for Week of December 18

The following is planned roadway improvement work associated with the opening of Wynn Boston Harbor, barring any changes due to weather. These activities should have minimal impact on traffic. Significant road and sidewalk construction is anticipated to start late winter/early spring of 2018.

Week of Monday, December 18, 2017
All work locations and durations are subject to weather.
Sullivan Square

Please note that no roadway work will take place in the City of Boston from 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 21st through Wednesday, January 3rd.Where - Work will continue on New Rutherford Avenue southbound installing traffic conduit. When - Installation work will take place at night with trench patching taking place during daytime off-peak hours. Investigations of existing underground utilities will continue throughout the project and will take place during the daytime.
Impact - The proposed work zones will reduce travel lane widths but will not close any existing travel lanes

Route 16

Please note that no roadway work will take place on Route 16 from 12:00 noon on Friday, December 22nd through Monday, December 25th.Where - Installation of new wheelchair ramps will continue at Sweetser Circle.When - Work will be done with small crews in isolated areas during daytime off-peak hours.
Impact - The proposed work zones will reduce travel lane widths but will not close any existing travel lanes.

Alford Street/Broadway (Route 99)

Please note that no roadway work will take place on Route 99/Broadway from 12:00 noon on Friday, December 22nd through Monday, December 25th.Where - Roadway widening work will begin at the west corner of Dexter and Robin Street.  This will be done with small crews working in isolated, off-roadway and shoulder areas.Impact - When in the roadway, proposed work zones may reduce travel lane widths, but will not close any existing travel lanes
