Wynn Traffic Updates

Dear Wynn For All Community,
The following is planned roadway improvement work associated with the opening of Wynn Boston Harbor. These activities should have minimal impact on traffic. Significant road and sidewalk construction is anticipated to start late winter/early spring of 2018.

Thanksgiving Week of Monday, November 20, 2017:
Please note that no work will be done on roadways from noon on Wednesday, November 22nd through Sunday, November 26th due to the Thanksgiving holiday. All work locations and durations are subject to weather impact.

EVERETT, MA (WHDH) - It’s a construction zone filled with steel and concrete right now, but in less than two years, this will be the center piece of the new Wynn Boston Harbor resort. 7’s Kris Anderson toured the massive development.

Crimson Tide Marching Band gives Three Consecutive First-Place Performances

The Everett High School Marching Band’s preferred colors are red, white, and blue. Its favored number is one.

Showcasing a patriotic program honoring the armed services, the Crimson Tide Band has captured three consecutive first-place finishes at local competitions at Medford, Wakefield, and Melrose high schools hosted by the New England Scholastic Band Association (NESBA).

“I couldn’t be prouder of the students,” said Band Director Charles Poole. “They’ve been responsive to individual and small-group instruction, diligent in team-wide rehearsals, and spot on in competitions.”

This year at the Everett Chamber's Annual Dinner we welcomed David LaRovere as our newest President and thanked Marge White for a great year as previous President!

We awarded enVision Hotel, Mike Matarazzo, Night Shift Brewing , Now Business and Intelligence and Andy Montelli for helping grow and expand out Everett Community for the better!

We also awarded Marge for a great 2015-2016 year as President! Mike Matarazzo was also thrown for a loop as hosting the event when Colin Kelly acknowledged him for his great work as City Clerk and for the Everett Community.

Mayor Carlo DeMaria presents 3rd Annual Halloween Bash

Please join Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the City of Everett for its third annual Halloween Bash. The event will kickoff with a kids parade at Glendale Park, and then live music, games and activities at the Recreation Center
3PM Kids Parade Kick Off! Come kick off the costume parade and enjoy an array of activities!

A performance by children's entertainer Philip Alexander and giveaways full of candy. The event will also include hayrides around Glendale Park! All FREE of charge!
Last year over 300 children and their families flocked to the Recreation Center in their Halloween Costumes! 

Crimson Tide football plays at Fenway Park

Crimson Tide football will play Thanksgiving game at Fenway Park Nov 22nd! 

Fenway Sports Management announced the addition of the high school football to the schedule of games played in the Fenway Grid iron series presented by Your Call Football this week, and the top-ranked undefeated. A double header featuring four local  high school football teams, Masconomet vs. Everett and Hingham vs. Scituate. 

Bread of Life Volunteers Wanted

Every 3rd & 4th Thursday of every month from 12:00 noon until 5:00 the Bread of Life operates a Food Pantry at the Everett City Hall, 484 Broadway, Ground Floor, entrance on Church Street. We provide canned goods, cereals & breads, fresh fruits & vegetables, meats and dairy products.

Education and Outreach Programs- Get information/Get Tested/Get Care/Get Support

The Cambridge Health Alliance is excited to announce the formation of a new outreach and education program to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and STI's in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner. 

The team provides a comprehensive HIV/STI's prevention services, outreach, education and testing geared toward those persons at greatest risk of acquiring and transmitting HIV infection. The purpose is to reduce new HIV infections, increasing access to care and promoting health equity.

Our program is interested in connecting with community partners for events and establishing outreach connections.
