You can’t win if you don’t buy a ticket! The Friends of the Everett Public Libraries’ are raffling off $10,000!!!! Proceeds from the raffle will be used to restore damaged paintings in the Parlin Library and restore the beautiful Trustees Table that generations of Everett children have done their homework at and unfortunately carved their initials in!
The Friends are selling only $200 tickets at $100.each. Every ticket sold has a 1 in 200 chance of winning. Unfortunately if you find yourself in the other 199, the $100 you paid for the ticket is tax deductable as of this writing anyway!

Saturday, we welcomed hundreds of residents and community members to a true winter wonderland at our City’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Downtown Open House! While the snow fell, everyone enjoyed entertainment, horse and train rides and so much more! Everett is such a strong community filled with compassionate and caring people and it really shows during the holiday season. Every year City officials, businesses, and residents alike join together to celebrate Everett’s Tree Lighting Ceremony.
